The Bible says to “Be still and know that I Am God” and that “In quietness and
confidence is our strength.”

It’s hard to be still and quiet when we have so much noise going on inside of us. That’s why it’s a struggle to be still and calm in times of prayer, because all of the turmoil inside becomes seemingly amplified. Maybe we need to elevate the volume of our prayers to the Lord until the volume of our relationship with the Lord is louder than the noise that’s going on inside of us.

Too many of us come in agreement with the noise of our soul (mind, will and emotions) rather than than the Truth that’s coming from out spirit. We need to dial up the volume of our prayers and amplify what Holy Spirit is speaking to us. How do we do that? Consistency. “Give us this day our DAILY bread.” Meet with Him today, and then meet with Him tomorrow. The more you become acquainted with His voice, you will find out how much “louder” a still small voice can be. Jesus told a natural storm to be still so that you and I could have the faith that He is able to tell the internal storms we face to be still.

PEACE, BE STILL IN JESUS’ NAME.
