Reese Logan
4/22/2026

The Bible says to “Be still and know that I Am God” and that “In quietness and
confidence is our strength.”

It’s hard to be still and quiet when we have so much noise going on inside of us. That’s why it’s a struggle to be still and calm in times of prayer, because all of the turmoil inside becomes seemingly amplified. Maybe we need to elevate the volume of our prayers to the Lord until the volume of our relationship with the Lord is louder than the noise that’s going on inside of us.

Too many of us come in agreement with the noise of our soul (mind, will and emotions) rather than than the Truth that’s coming from out spirit. We need to dial up the volume of our prayers and amplify what Holy Spirit is speaking to us. How do we do that? Consistency. “Give us this day our DAILY bread.” Meet with Him today, and then meet with Him tomorrow. The more you become acquainted with His voice, you will find out how much “louder” a still small voice can be. Jesus told a natural storm to be still so that you and I could have the faith that He is able to tell the internal storms we face to be still.

PEACE, BE STILL IN JESUS’ NAME.

Pastor Reese
4/2/2026

Ruth was a widow from a foreign country. She is in Bethlehem because she chose to stay devoted to Naomi, her mother in law. Naomi was also a widow.

They are broke and hungry with no men to take care of them. Ruth tells her mother-in-law that she will go out and find “someone” to follow who is gathering wheat and maybe they will let her pick up the scraps.

Not knowing anyone in this new country she’s in, she “just happens” to end up in the field of a man named Boaz.
Not only a relative of Naomi’s husband, but also a “Family Redeemer.” Also known as a Kinsman redeemer.

KINSMAN IS WHO HE IS. REDEEMER IS WHAT HE DOES.

So before Boaz even redeems the land for Naomi, and redeems Ruth by marrying her, he tells the men in his field to let her gather all the wheat she wants and to not mistreat her in any way. He immediately made a safe place for Ruth to have her needs met. Then Boaz, who Ruth “just happened” to run into, buys Naomi’s land so she will
always have a place to live, and marries this foreign woman, Ruth, so that this widow will be taken care of and have a son to inherit the land that was just redeemed.

Look how God protects you as He’s redeeming and restoring you at the same time. What a good God He is!

The post A Safe Space – A New Start first appeared on Adoration Fellowship Church.

God Feeds Elijah

Elijah just had an epic encounter with the prophets of Baal, an evil demonic cult. The challenge was for the prophets of Baal to call on him, and Elijah to call on Jehovah, and whichever one answered with fire is the One true God. Of course The Lord answered with fire and then Elijah put all of the evil prophets to death.

Then He gets a death threat from a woman, Jezebel. All of a sudden fear grips him and he takes off running for his life. It’s kind of crazy how in one moment Elijah had this huge victory on this mountain top and now he’s in a cave hiding from one person. From extreme highs to extreme lows. I’m sure no one can relate.

He has abandoned his post, lost his faith, and is actually asking God to take his life because he doesn’t want to live under the pressure he’s feeling. And look how God responds to a man in their fallen state. An angel of the Lord touches Elijah while he’s asleep and says, “Wake up and eat.” Elijah looks and there is some fresh bread and a jar of water right next to him. He lays back down to sleep and wakes up again to the same thing. Fresh bread and a jar of water.

We may think that God is disappointed in us when we fail or give into doubt and fear, but look at His response to Elijah when he ran scared. He came to him, took care of him, encouraged him and called him to go back and continue what he was born for.

I wonder if God is trying to take care of you but you think He’s upset with you so your avoiding Him. Reach out to Him. Call out to Him. Be still and listen. His response to us is always what’s best for us. Purpose, future and hope. Allow Him to be who He is and you will find a better outcome for you every time.

The post Running Scared Hungry & Tired – Reese Logan first appeared on Adoration Fellowship Church.

WHEN YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO…

Sometimes, if not often, life gets more than a little crazy, heavy, draining. Even when

things are going well, the routine and grind will start to take its toll. Hopefully we notice

this sooner rather than later. And when it does, it’s funny how it can seem to hit us out of

nowhere and make us think ‘what do I do now?’ Even if it’s something we’ve already

dealt with.

I’ve heard sayings like ‘remember what got you to the dance’ and ‘what got

you there will keep you there.’ I believe in this theory whole heartedly. Another one I’ve

heard that hits strong is ‘When you don’t know what to do, do what you know to do.’

Psalms 77:11-12 says, I will remember the deeds of the LORD; yes, I will remember Your

miracles of long ago. I will consider all Your works and meditate on all Your mighty

deeds.”

If a restaurant is trash, we have no problem remembering it. It seems too often we

remember the bad more than the good. We have to intentionally remember what God

has done for us so that it will not be taken from us, and we will know how to respond

when life happens. What I know is that God has been more faithful than I could ever

comprehend or deserve. I’ve seen and trusted in Him before and He has always

delivered. So when I’m going through another tough or stressful time and don’t know

what to do, I will do what I know to do. Trust in the Lord because He has never let me

down.

Have you heard the phrase “Eyes in the back pf your head?” You may notice that’s

not the way you were created. Your eyes are in the front of your head. Because you

were created to move forward not backward. You were created for progress.

So many get hung up on what’s happened in the past that they are trapped in a

moment or a season that has long come and gone. All though time keeps rolling by,

they’re never able to move forward. This is why the Bible says do not take on offense

and give the enemy a foothold. When the enemy gets a foothold, he trie to hold you in

one defeated position never allowing you to move forward. Jesus says directly that He

came to destroy the works of the devil and set the captive free.

If you find yourself still stuck in the mud because of something or someone from

the past that hurt you, you have the choice and God’s power to release that to the Lord

and be free to move forward into the destiny that God has for you.

You can pray right now. “Lord I release the past hurts and failures to you NOW. I

lay them at Your feet and I set my eyes on You and the plans you have for me today, In

Jesus Name!”

June 11, 2024

“An anchor for your soul”

In this life there is a nonstop flow of reasons to lose your peace. It’s because this world is a broken place and we are people who deal with a broken nature. We default on gravitating towards reasons to lose our peace.

Some of us who like to be in control of everything (raising my hand) could easily lose it when confronted with things that are out of our control. We must all come to grips with the reality that there is much in life that we will never be able to control with our own hands. This is why God gave us the most incredible gift. It’s called “peace that is greater than understanding.” That means that circumstances don’t have to be peaceful for you to have peace.

The peace the Bible is talking about is not a feeling; it’s a person, The Prince of Peace. This means that no matter where you are or what you’re going through, if you have Jesus with you, you can have peace, because He is Peace.

A boat can keep floating as long as the water that is outside the boat doesn’t get inside the boat. To keep from getting tossed around and capsized in a storm, a boat needs an anchor. The Lord and His Word in your life is an “anchor for our souls.” When we grab ahold of Him and keep ahold of Him, His sustaining protection will allow us to experience peace in any situation.

Hebrews 6:19. Isaiah 40:31, James 1:8, Psalms 31:15, Isaiah 9:6

The post Peaceful & Steady – Reese Logan first appeared on Adoration Fellowship Church.

It’s not the same without you

Do you know how valued you are? Maybe, maybe not?

Has life been beating you down leaving you feeling worthless? Circumstances and setbacks making you feel defeated? Does it seem like someone else is always getting ahead, getting the break or the blessing? You may be wondering if there is even a purpose for you, a reason to be here?

I am here to inform you that there absolutely is! Not just a purpose, a divine purpose. Not just a calling, an original calling that has been planned since before you were born, a destiny that has been ordained since before the creation of the world. God says He knew your name before you were born, and if He knew your name, He knew His plan for you. Don’t let what people did rob you of what your Father says. Don’t let broken events rob you of the solid foundation you have in Him.

The most introverted people still affect thousands of people over their lifetime. You are so much more important than you realize. If you are thinking that no one would miss you if you were gone, that is an absolute lie from hell. I want you to know that God wants you to know that if you were the only person on earth, He still would have stepped out of Heaven and went through the punishment of paying for your sins. Why?!? Because YOU ARE VALUED!

Today I was hitting the pickleball back and forth with this really sweet 10 year old. She was playing really well! She hit it into the net a few times and said, “I keep doing that ”. I said, “But you hit it over more than you hit it into the net”. So then I started keeping track. When we were done, I told her she hit 6 into the net but hit 25 over! Her eyes lit up. (Perspective).

Now I just need to remember that little lesson when I get down on myself for making a mistake. Don’t we all? We go through life doing pretty dang good most the time but it’s those mistakes that we seem to magnify. Let’s just stop and thank God for the 81 1/2% of the day that we get right.

The post Perspective – Angela Logan first appeared on Adoration Fellowship Church.

Just this morning while I’m sitting at my table having some alone time with God, (at least I thought we were alone), I catch this little guy in the corner of my eye. He just sat their staring at me until I took a picture. The flash went off and it caused him to run and hide.

Then….I go back to my reading (I’ll let my husband deal with the little critter later) and the book I am currently in right now is Isaiah. I’ve been studying on chapter two now for twenty days which means today I am journaling on Isaiah 2:20.

Well guess what it says?!

“In that day, people will throw away the worthless idols their hands have made from gold and silver. They will fling their treasures to the RODENTS and bats.”Then verse 21 says “as they crawl into the clefts of the rock to hide from the dreadful presence of Yahweh.”

And I thought…wow…in these last days, people are going to trade places with rodents! That little mouse ran and hid from me when that light from the flash went off. When the presence of God shows up….people who have worshiped THINGS or other PEOPLE instead of God….will throw all their treasures away and run and hide like a little mouse.

Those who worship the Lord, however, will run and hide IN Him covered by the Almighty.

Let’s not end up like little mice scurrying away from the presence of Yahweh! Fall on your face before Jesus now, lay down all your idols and know that when He returns, you will not run away but run TO Him.

The post Hiding IN His Presence, Not FROM It – Angela Logan first appeared on Adoration Fellowship Church.

If the joy of the Lord is our strength then why do we keep trying to do things in our own strength and causing ourselves to be without joy?! Why don’t we just choose to walk in the joy of the Lord and see His plans begin to unfold in our lives?

“I admit that I haven’t yet acquired the absolute fullness that I’m pursuing, but I run with passion into His abundance so that I may reach the purpose that Jesus Christ has called me to fulfill and wants me to discover. I don’t depend on my own strength to accomplish this; however I do have one compelling focus: I forget all of the past as I fasten my heart to the future instead. I run straight for the divine invitation of reaching the heavenly goal and gaining the victory-prize through the anointing of Jesus. So let all who are fully mature have this same passion, and if anyone is not yet gripped by these desires, God will reveal it to them. And let us all advance together to reach this victory-prize, following one path with one passion.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭3‬:‭12‬-‭16‬ ‭TPT‬‬

The post Choosing Joy first appeared on Adoration Fellowship Church.
